About the job

SUMMARY
Provide complete customer support within assigned regions related to equipment requirements, remodel requirements and project management. Primary responsibility is to ensure customer satisfaction.

Your tasks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
•    Provide information resource conduit regarding project or roll-out development to all areas of direct customer base (Regional, Corporate, and Owner/Operator).
•    Maintain constant awareness of new foodservice equipment developments.  Maintain dialogue with direct customer base (Regional, Corporate and Owner/Operator) regarding new equipment releases and equipment obsolescence to protect capital investments. 
•    Maintain constant awareness of customer operational changes as they relate to kitchen design or other restaurant areas.
•    Review monthly forecasting and project management planning to help achieve company sales targets.
•    Assist in coordination of communication between Inside Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Accounts Receivable, CAD, Production Planning, IS, and Logistics departments.
•    Extensive travel within the Market Manager’s territory (>40%). Occasional travel to Franke US HQ in Smyrna, TN.
•    Maintain and build business growth with current account base, while growing market share in established shared markets and outside of legacy markets. 
•    Understand and effectively communicate company value proposition to clients.
•    Work effectively with Technical Service / Engineering team to deliver maximum customer satisfaction and repeat sales opportunities.
•    Be the highly visible face/voice of the company within the assigned geographic territory. Represent the company at key industry events and build a network that helps deliver the required growth in the territory.
•    Comply with customer cooperate standards and balancing the needs of the Operator to provide optimized kitchen layout and product solutions.
•    Manage projects to ensure accuracy and adherence to committed timelines from Quotation to Accounts Payable. 
•    Resolves on-site customer product and service issues by providing sales-related solutions utilizing common and alternative sources of information. Consults with other client team members to identify the most cost-effective solutions.
•    Collaborate with internal partners to move deals forward and ensure customer success.
•    Reliable attendance is a must.
•    Other duties as assigned.

•    Design-Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. The ability to red-line building drawings to incorporate equipment changes.
•    Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
•    Sales and Marketing-Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
•    Transportation-Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
•    Critical Thinking-Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
•    Language Skills: Intermediate Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
•    Mathematical Skills: Intermediate Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
•    Reasoning Ability: High Skills - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
•    Computer Skills: Word Processing Software, Spreadsheet Software, Design Software, Internet Software - General Knowledge, Project Management Software, Database Software – PBS/OCS, Microsoft Suite.
         
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
•    Degree in Business Administration preferred.
•    Minimum of five years prior related work experience calling on or working with global QSR customers.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Does not supervise staff.
