About the job
We are looking for a highly motivated colleague with a strong commercial and analytical mindset to join our Sales Excellence Team in the Coffee Systems Division in Aarburg, Switzerland, reporting to the Head of Sales Excellence.
As Contract Excellence Manager, you will establish and manage standardized, legally sound contract and compliance frameworks across the global Coffee Systems organization. You will be responsible for drafting, coordinating, and overseeing commercial contracts, reducing legal and financial risks, and enabling reliable, profitable customer and supplier relationships.
Acting as a central interface between Sales & Service, Commercial Excellence, and Group Legal, you will define clear processes, enhance cross‑functional collaboration, and support efficient contract lifecycle management to enable the strategic development of the Coffee Systems Division.
You will be part of our Graduate and Early Career (GEC) Program of 18 months, which enables you to:

Your tasks
Leading Projects & Managing the Contract Lifecycle:
• A set of challenging projects with impact on our local and global business to lead with continuous exposure to senior leaders.
• Drive the implementation of the new Franke Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, including piloting, training, user support and ongoing development.
• Developing and implementing contract standards in line with corporate and group requirements.
• Independently preparing and reviewing commercial documents and contracts.
• Managing the filing and archiving of contracts for Switzerland and the export regions (APAC & EMEA), including deadline tracking and ensuring audit proof documentation.
Strategic Business Partnering:
• Serving as the first point of contact for Sales & Service on all contract related matters and coordinating questions with Group Legal related matters and coordinating questions with Group Legal.
• Supporting Sales & Service as a commercial challenger in customer discussions.
• Supporting compliance with existing corporate guidelines during negotiations and contract finalizations, as well as continuously improving these guidelines.
• Supporting the Commercial Excellence (Sales & Service Excellence) departments, the regions and the affiliates of Franke Coffee Systems with legal related inquiries (focus markets are Switzerland, EMEA and APAC) .
Subject Matter Expertise:
• Providing subject matter expertise in relevant international projects.
• Continuously developing expertise in international contract law.

Requirements
• Completed Master’s degree in Business Law, Business Administration with a legal focus, or Law with a business focus, and gained your first relevant work experience
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is a prerequisite, other languages are an asset
• Strong understanding of - or willingness to learn - commercial, contractual and digital compliance topics
• Ability to translate legal requirements into practical, scalable business processes
• High attention to detail paired with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset
• Independent, service-oriented and well organized working style
• Absolute loyalty and confidentiality
• Ability to drive change and support teams in an international context
• Compliance with company quality, coordination and signing authority standards
• Genuine interest in our business and are eager to discover and learn about different functions and roles within Franke
