Our Purchasing team is part of Group Operations and manages all negotiations for all direct and indirect materials for the whole Group, which includes all three divisions and all Group functions in the corporate center. The majority of purchases happen in our 20 plants around the world and our Asia sourcing organization. The goal is to achieve competitive sourcing of materials and finished goods as well as short and robust supply chains to support the needs of the different markets in which Franke operates.

To reach our ambitious targets and keep guaranteeing the highest quality in our markets, we are currently looking for a Purchasing Controller.

Your responsibilities

  • Review direct and indirect material spend and purchasing price variances during the monthly closing
  • Analyze and explain purchasing price variances vs budget and standard cost
  • Analyze raw material development and the impact on purchasing prices
  • Present purchasing performance for direct/indirect material purchases
  • Support correct standard and product cost calculation during the budget process
  • Support purchasing team by pointing out deviations and suggestions  for improvements
  • Improve process to measure purchasing performance throughout all entities
  • Secure continuously financial accuracy in reporting and controlling
  • Drive purchasing data and process standardization throughout the Group
  • Calculate business cases related to Make or Buy decisions
  • Keeping track on costs, savings and investments for projects in execution phase
  • Engage with other functions within Operations and Franke in general to secure successful execution
  • Prepare financial plan on purchasing performance for the mid-term planning
  • Work on projects together with Operation controllers

Your profile

  • 5 years of background in Purchasing or Operations controlling on a local and/or central level, worked in a matrix organization is an advantage
  • Experience with managing internal and external customers
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel internationally (max. 20%)
  • Skill to understand the big picture and then drill into details
  • Ability to condense financial data into simple messages
