About the job

SUMMARY 
Supports the establishment, coordination, and maintenance of supplier and purchased‑part costing activities by performing assigned data entry, verification, and routine updates. Ensures the timely availability, completeness, and accuracy of product master data within the ERP system by following defined procedures and data quality standards. 

Your tasks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES 
• Maintains product master data including collecting and interpreting incoming data points and maintaining existing records. 
• Ensures supplier costs are correct and updated in a timely manner including contacting suppliers regarding discrepancies.
• Analyzes and creates supplier cost uploads.
• Maintains supplier cost upload schedules ensuring system updates are correct and timely.
• Inputs non-scheduled supplier costs adjustments.
• Maintains supplier cost notices tracking. 
• Collects and analyzes master data for the PDM / MDM department. 
• Ensure supplier selection is correct within territory guidelines set by OEMs. 
• Supports internal and external customers with ad-hoc requests involving master data.
• Participates in projects designed to improve or implement beneficial functionalities within master data.
• Pulls, processes, and/or reviews daily queries as necessary.
• Assists in the part set up and verification process.
• Reliable attendance is a must.
• Other duties assigned.

• Basic Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 
• Basic Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 
• Intermediate Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 
• Computer Skills - (Word, Excel, Access)

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; 
• Minimum two years’ prior related work experience and/or training;  
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Does not supervise staff.
