About the job

To reach our ambitious targets and guarantee the highest quality in our markets, we are currently looking for a Customer Quality Engineer who will be in charge of managing some customers with the objective to reduce the percentage of defectiveness of our products and non-quality costs.

This role is based in Fabriano (AN), Italy and reports to the Head of Quality Hoods.

Your tasks

  • Ensure customer expectations and contractual Quality requirements are met, checking their application in all the Project phases;
  • Ensure the continuous improvement processes, promoting changes aimed at increasing effectiveness and efficiency;
  • Ensure proper interface management with Customers for Quality aspects;
  • Contribute to measure customer satisfaction by interfacing the clients on specific projects if needed;
  • Ensure the execution of audits (internal and external) on Projects;
  • Ensure proper improvement action plans as per Customer Satisfaction results;
  • Ensure proper analysis, escalation and management of important quality issues in processes, products and systems installed and/or delivered to customers concerning the project;
  • Ensure the analysis of project-related non-conformities and monitor the implementation of relevant corrections and corrective actions;
  • Coordinate the closure of non-conformities with other relevant Quality units;
  • Ensure that the fulfilment of customer quality requirements is demonstrated and provides relevant evidence to customers, certification bodies and safety authorities;
  • Ensure follow-up across the whole project lifecycle from bidding 'till the end of the service contract to ensure the expected quality level.

Additional / Special Duties

  • Give support and share best practices within the Home Solutions Division;
  • Contribute to the Global Quality Strategy by providing all the Project Quality Assurance elements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background;
  • 2 or 3 years of experience within industrial environments on similar Quality roles;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong teamwork orientation to reach the targets, ability to influence and collaboration across all levels of the organization;
  • Goal oriented, good organizational and planning skills;
  • High analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Positive attitude towards the Customer;
  • Capability to understand and manage contractual quality requirements concerning the project;
  • Proactive person with good communication skills;
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools: 8D, 5Ws, Ishikawa, Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 (new edition), ISO 14001 (new edition) and ISO 45001;
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Good knowledge of statistical tools (i.e. Minitab);
  • Knowledge of SAP;
  • Able to travel abroad extensively.
