About the job
The Manager, Master Data Management in EMEA is responsible for leading regional product data management team and driving excellence in product master data governance, quality, and lifecycle management. This role ensures harmonization of standards across business units, supports global initiatives and enables cross-functional collaboration to deliver accurate, compliant and business-critical data.
Your tasks
- Establish, harmonize and enforce master data standards, SOPs and data framework across EMEA fostering a unified global product data governance approach
- Drive change management initiatives and process evolution in partnership with the Head of Global Product MD(FS)
- Monitor data quality, resolve compliance issues and ensure responsiveness to data requests within SLA timeframes
- Oversee creation, maintenance and updates of product master data, including proactive part maintenance and lifecycle support
- Deliver reports and support ad hoc data analysis in collaboration with Finance, Sales, Commercial and Product Data Management
- Collaborate with OEMs and Franke Sales to gather and manage product information, documentation, pricing
- Supervise master data clean-up efforts, harmonize definitions across systems and coordinate resolution of data integrity gaps
- Analyze change requests, assess risks, support testing and coordinate resolution of data integrity gaps with business and IT stakeholders
- Ensure documentation and master data management process controls are established and operating effectively to support data security/audit/compliance requirements
- Manage product data teams in Germany/Poland
- Set goals with direct reports, coach team members and drive continuous improvement in data management practices and service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's or University degree,
- Proven experience in master data management, governance and quality
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent analytical, communication and project management abilities
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Proficient in fostering positive relationships with customers, suppliers/OEMs and internal stakeholders
- Solution orientated with a good approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and different data models
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
- Moderate expertise in using analytical and BI tools
- Ability to international travel – up to 10%
