About the job
The Senior Plant Controller will serve as a business partner, collaborating with various cross-functional departments within the plant and corporate office. This role focuses on efficient cost management across the supply chain, including Production, Logistic, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Engineering.
Your tasks

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the plant.

Analyze and support production and supply chain budgets, evaluating performance against actual results.

Analyze cost records, including cost of goods manufactured, overhead, scrap, and write-offs.

Compare actual costs to estimates and analyze variances.

Perform month-end closing activities, including account analysis, reconciliation, inventory evaluation, and journal entries.

Monitor stock turnover and ensure adherence to inventory targets.

Conduct periodic impairment reviews and physical inventory counts, tracking actions on slow-moving stocks.

Produce timely management reports, schedules, analyses, and summaries for review.

Coordinate and lead monthly cut-off activities with Operations.

Ensure all controls are performed accurately and timely.

Control Operations KPIs and report them in the group's system.

Support savings planning and investment requests.

Present financial results in various review situations.

Conduct monthly budget reviews with department heads.

Facilitate and manage key initiatives to support financial KPIs.

Support business case development and provide mentorship.

Participate in process audits and suggest improvements.

Identify savings opportunities and validate achievements.
We are looking for:

A finance professional with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CPA or Master’s in Business/Supply Chain is a plus).

At least 5 years of experience in Finance Controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

A proactive and analytical mindset, capable of driving financial performance and efficiency in a plant setting.

Strong experience in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within a production or supply chain environment.

Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets and financial modeling.

SAP/S4HANA experience is a strong advantage; SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) knowledge is a plus.

A strategic thinker who can provide insights and recommendations to optimize operations and drive business improvements.

A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and leadership.
