About the job

Supervise the shipping and delivery of materials and warehouse personnel including process and documentation and involved in managing the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of materials.

Your tasks

-Supervise and manage inventory while communicating with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, customs brokers, and others engaged in merchandise shipping and delivery.

-Resolve and recommend action on transportation, logistics systems inbound and outbound, or customer concerns. 

-Perform quarterly evaluations for all service providers and work closely with 3rd Party Logistics, carriers, haulers, packers, and other service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. 

-Supervise all vendors with 3PL (air/sea shipment) to guarantee that items are delivered on time while continuously monitoring the same through transshipment points and keeping regular updates on the progress of ETD and ETA.

-Ensure that the team complies with all PEZA, Customs, and other legal obligations. 

-Negotiating 3PL contracts to reduce cost while assuring the quality of services supplied.

-Manage the renewals of all government permits and licenses, as well as the submission of various reports, to guarantee they are submitted and renewed on time.

-Prepare reports, meeting minutes, company policies, rules, and cautions to concern departments and the entire organization. 

-Assist with individual KPI evaluations and the establishment of targets for each personnel and team growth plan.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Business Management, or related field.

-Years of total working experience: 6 to 10 years

-At least 6 years of prior experience in a supervisory role in logistics or related field

-Experience Expectation Highlights: Advanced negotiation skills to contracts, prices, terms, and conditions with various parties, such as vendors, carriers, and customers.

-Expert in Import and Export shipping, receiving, and distribution processes and procedures

-Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

-Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked, interrupted environment.

-Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred.
