Our Product Management teams are at the heart of our product lifecycle, ensuring that new products are successfully launched into the market, and old products are successfully removed. The Product Management Project Manager GEC is a truly multidisciplinary role covering the full range of Product Management activities, with responsibility for leading key projects to improve the performance of our product portfolio. 


As part of our Graduate and Early Career Program (GEC), this newly established role allows you to work closely with the local and central product and category management teams. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our business at Franke Home Solutions. Working within the Northern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa cluster of the Home Solutions (HS) division, you will support product management activities across our markets in Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, South Africa and the UK. 


We are looking for a highly motivated colleague with an agile mindset to become part of our product management team based in Manchester, UK. The Cluster Head of Product Management is also located in Manchester, UK.

Your key project and responsibilities:

The primary project for the role will be the launch of our new Hoods & Appliances category portfolios in select markets within the Northern Europe & Sub-Saharan Africa cluster markets (primarily the Netherlands & South Africa). This will require identifying a full overview of the market, defining the to-be portfolio, price positioning, the go-to-market strategy and the launch package. In addition, you will have significant exposure to essential Product Management activities including: 
 

  • Working with the Cluster Product Management team to ensure that our products are launched and managed as effectively as possible

  • Simultaneously managing multiple Product Management projects, including Product Lifecycle Management and Master Data Management improvement projects

  • Developing and implementing cluster-wide processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all Product Management activities

  • Coordinating and leading activities across the Cluster Team, Central Category Management and the wider business

  • Analysis and reporting of product / category performance to support the Cluster leadership team

  • Creating and maintaining supporting documentation (Standard Operating Procedures and work step instructions) for all routine Product Management activities

  • Becoming a source of expert advice and information for Product Management queries from the wider business

Your profile requirements:

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration or associated disciplines
  • You have already gained your first work experience; 1-2 years
  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite, other languages are an asset
  • Experience in managing / leading projects
  • Demonstrable, genuine interest in our business and eagerness to discover and learn about different functions and roles within Franke
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Team player and agile learner
  • Willingness to push out of your comfort zone
  • Excited about being part of a global team and turning your ideas into action
  • Proactive and committed mindset
  • Computer literate
  • Product based industrial work experience an advantage
