About the job
We are searching for a Technical Maintenance and Facility Manager who will be responsable for the facility management, technical and general services. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure efficient and effective operations. The Manager will lead a team of professionals, including Maintenance and Facility Leaders, to maintain and enhance machines, technical infrastructure, facilities, and general services to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Your tasks
• Drive the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) transformation as we drive a cultural shift in how we continuously improve; be a hands-on team builder able to recognize others’ resistance to change and lead individuals and teams through the change process; apply competence in TPM, combined with on the job expertise and stakeholder input to identify, prioritize and manage multiple improvement projects.
• Develop and implement strategies for the maintenance and improvement of technical systems, including IT networks, hardware, and software.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the organization's technical infrastructure aligns with industry best practices and supports business needs.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruptions to daily operations.
• Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance activities, including building repairs, security, and safety protocols.
• Lead projects to optimize energy consumption and sustainability.
• Lead a team of technical and general services professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Develop and manage budgets for technical and general services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular financial reports to the leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the organization.
• Provide input on technical and operational aspects to support long-term goals and objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferably Engineering).
- Proven experience in technical and general services management, with a track record of successful leadership.
- Strong technical acumen and understanding of IT systems, facilities management, and general operational processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Budget management experience.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
