About the job
This role partners with the Business Development Director to drive growth across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh by expanding distribution networks, acquiring new customers, executing market strategies, and ensuring sales, service quality, and compliance targets are met.
Your tasks
- Drive market insights by analyzing key customer segments (HoReCa, QSR, CVS, bakeries) and roasters.
- Develop and execute impactful market entry and growth strategies with clear roadmaps
- Lead business development and marketing initiatives (events, digital campaigns, trade fairs)
- Strengthen and expand the Franke brand presence across the assigned region
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with distributors and key partners at all levels
- Expand sub-dealer networks, including onboarding competitive channel partners
- Acquire and grow high-value key accounts (large & mid-sized chains, local partners, roasters)
- Gain deep expertise in products and services to deliver strong customer value propositions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering/Hospitality/Marketing with an MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred
- 15–18 years of overall experience, including 10–12 years in relevant business development or sales roles
- Strong expertise in the coffee industry with deep understanding of the Indian market
- Well-versed in local business practices, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations
