About the job

Responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure ISO Standards requirements are met. Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and ensure compliance with Quality and Customer standards which may include UL, NFS, SWA among others, following up through audits and corrective actions.

Your tasks

-Design the Quality Management System
-Responsible for ensuring that customer specific requirements are met (UL, NSF, SWA and otherstandards).
-Leads the development of procedures for all areas of the company.
-Prepares and schedules training on ISO and other applicable standards
-Oversees compliance with the procedures through audits
-Writes internal audit reports
-Liaise with customer auditors and ensure implementation of corrective actions and compliance with customer specifications.
-Lead ISO audits to drive success in our certifications in all areas and lead corrective actions
-Directs corrective actions to ensure completion and effective resolution.
-Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.

-Certified Internal Auditor
-ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO 45001 certification or diploma
-Knowledge of NSF, UL desirable
-Experience in the food industry - desirable
-High level of English
-Communication and teamwork skills
-Negotiation and leadership skills

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Extensive knowledge of quality standards
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience in LEAN manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in OHSA Guidelines, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001
- Demonstrated leadership and strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Motivated team player with top-notch interpersonal skills who enjoys creativity and gets the job done.
