About the job
Ensure product quality through the inspection process in accordance with the quality parameters established in the drawings and inspection instructions that help guarantee product conformity and customer requirements.
Your tasks
- Release finished product by verifying that it meets the established dimensional, functional, regulatory, and aesthetic parameters according to the drawings, inspection instructions, and procedures to ensure product conformity.
- Ensure that all findings related to the product are documented using labels and a quality log to support decision-making.
- Release workstations based on drawings and inspection instructions that guarantee compliance with quality requirements.
- Perform inspection and cleaning of measuring and testing equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
- Attend SCRAP analysis meetings as required for follow-up on analyses and corrective actions
- Track non-conforming materials (rework, deviations, and missing components)
- Thoroughly monitor electrical, performance, and engineering tests
- Track new product launches (Franke PPAPs)
- Perform functional water leak and penetrant testing as applicable
- Support containment efforts and dissemination of quality alerts
- Support operator training on quality standards
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Technical Knowledge:
- Blueprint reading and measurement systems
- Technical Degree or High School Diploma (Relevant field).
- 1 year of experience in Quality - Manufacturing Industry
- Knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, squares, surface roughness testers, torque wrenches, and ammeters
- Leak testing
- Application of penetrant testing
- Welding knowledge
- Knowledge of steels (304 vs. 430)
- Knowledge of NSF, UL, ETL, and ANSUL standards (desirable)
- Microsoft office
