In this role, you will contribute by:

Develop and execute the pricing strategy that is driven by the market and aligns with the company’s strategic initiatives and business goals. Responsible for working with key business stakeholders to provide insight and transform our pricing models and operational expansion. Provides leadership to the data analysis team and develop and execute the pricing strategy for the company.

  • Manage total pricing strategy, define business procedures, evaluate resource requirements, and ensure timely response to market conditions.
  • Develop customer specific pricing information by analyzing customer characteristics and requirements, operational capabilities, and historical data to achieve company profits. Collaborate with sales leadership, etc. to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market.
  • Own the customer profitability analysis process to identify which customers are profitable and where Franke needs to either increase prices or turn down business.
  • In a high inflation environment, devise processes to ensure all supplier price increases get passed on to the customers.
  • Prepare sales forecasts for the year and update them monthly based on information gathered from the sales & marketing team and Franke systems, such as PBS and Halo.
  • Review existing Terms and Conditions with Customers and recommend improvements with respect to security deposit requirements, surcharge calculations and other relevant clauses.
  • Work with the costing/quoting team to make sure Franke proposals going out to customers are as per the RFP received and where required, make adjustments to the process to ensure Franke quotes are comparable and consistent with how competitors prepare quotes.
  • Conduct field research and cost revisions to understand the going rates for similar products in the industry to remain competitive.
  • Work in collaboration with Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to find efficiencies, identify risks and opportunities, and provide analysis and recommendations to objectively guide and influence our pricing methodology.
  • Establish robust, repeatable, and sustainable audit processes to ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Makes proposals for efficiency and profit improvements.
  • Assist in certain month end closing processes and reporting impacted by sales such as warranty provisions, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience, with proven experience in developing and executing pricing strategies.
  • Highly proficient in in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Ability to dig into detail, manage complexity, and drive decision making.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate, with impact to a variety of audiences.  Use communication skills to present findings and build support for pricing initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to source relevant data, create clear and concise decision models, interpret analytic results, and provide recommendations and actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational agility to enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration.
