About the job

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the foodservice industry? Franke Foodservice is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President National Accounts to lead our market expansion and customer management efforts across the United States.
As the Vice President National Accounts, you'll spearhead the development and execution of market strategies, ensuring the achievement of ambitious targets. This role reports directly to the President/CEO of the division and you will manage a team of Sales professionals and account directors. 
 

Your tasks

•    Develops and maintains relationships with customer assigned key contact and key corporate departmental decision-makers to assure complete understanding and knowledge of customer operational and menu objectives / plans and customer political atmosphere
•    Provides leadership and/or supports creation of opportunities to provide customer product sourcing, distribution and operational solutions based on information from key corporate customer contact, field contact, press releases and customer short and long term strategies and objectives.
•    Display and / or demonstrates product and distribution services benefits and value that position the company as "the solution resource".
•    Provide leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements.
•    Ensure pricing of standard resupply and roll out products to provide value to the customer and accomplishment of financial / budgetary goals.
•    Build and develop customer account team capable of exceeding customer expectations and marketing and sales strategies.
•    Develop marketing plan including the strategies, tactics and resources required to properly execute.
•    Ensure all marketing communications support marketing plan and measure effectiveness.
•    Serves as liaison between customer and all associated company divisions as required.  
•    Coordinates, with Human Resources, all aspects of employee relations including but not limited to, employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training and development, etc.
•    Attending and coordinating customer and industry related trade shows and conventions.
•    Reliable attendance is a must.
•    Ability to travel (30-40% travel, higher in first year).
•    Directly supervises staff.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • MS/MA Degree (Experience may substitute for Education).
  • 6-10 years’ extensive experience managing customers in the Foodservice industry or within Restaurant Brands International
  • Extensive sales leadership experience, preferably in food service or related industries.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Strong team management skills, including coaching and fostering a results-driven culture.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management abilities to drive value and satisfaction.
  • Deep understanding of food service industry dynamics, trends, and competitors.
