About the job
The Collaboration & Communication Apprentice position is based in European Shared Services Center as part of the IT team and supports activities related to collaboration platforms, data management, and internal communication within the organization.
The role is intended for a student completing mandatory university apprenticeship hours and provides exposure to a global IT environment. The apprentice will support various initiatives related to collaboration, information organization, and communication, while learning how digital tools, processes, and platforms are used to support end users and internal stakeholders, in line with the Franke Platform Services strategy.
Your tasks
- Supporting day-to-day activities related to collaboration and communication platforms, assistance with content organization, maintenance and quality of information
- Supporting preparation and updates of user-facing communication and informational materials, assistance with documentation, guidelines and knowledge-sharing materials
- Supporting data management and information structuring activities (e.g. consistency, clarity, usability)
- Learning and following internal processes, standards, and governance rules
- Participating in projects and initiatives related to collaboration, communication, or internal digital workplace topics
- Assisting in analyzing and documenting changes related to the digital workplace tools and solutions
- Performing other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor within the scope of apprenticeship and learning objectives
Requirements
- Student status with a requirement to complete mandatory university apprenticeship hours is appreciated but not mandatory
- Very good command of English (written and spoken)
- General familiarity with digital workplace tools (e.g. collaboration or communication platforms) is an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft 365 from work, studies, or personal use is appreciated but not mandatory
- Ability to work with structured information and documentation, analytical mindset and process-oriented way of thinking, high attention to detail and quality of work
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and support changing priorities, good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment
