About the job
We are looking for a talented highly technical individual to strengthen Platform Services Center at Franke. This individual will functionally report to the Franke Head of Platform Services.
Platform Service Center (PSC) is a part of FRANKE’s European Shared Services Center, located in Warsaw, Poland. PSC provides Information Technology services to all companies of the Franke Group. This is carried out in close cooperation with the IT teams in Aarburg, Switzerland.
Your tasks
- Lead PSC and SD teams including recruitment, performance uprisal, career, education and development
- Manage local teams of PSC and SD in terms of planning, executing daily tasks
- Review current setup, responsibilities and recommend/implement enhancements based on technical expertise and business needs
- Plan and oversee projects assigned to the teams
- Provide second level support for operated infrastructure and services according to IT Service Management processes based on ITIL
- Maintain security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures
- Participate in implementation of changes/roll-outs and other tasks in IT infrastructure and Services as part of projects
- Provide training for local IT teams
- Be a counterpart around IT for internal/external audits
- Track and understand emerging practices and standards, participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications and maintain personal networks
- Manage and track Key Performance Indicators for direct reports
What you bring
- Master’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of proven working experience in a similar position with direct reports or at least 5 years experience in one of the area (Workplace/Infrastructure/Networks/Comunication&Collaboration services)
- Certificates or equivalent knowledge in below areas will be a plus:
- Project management
- ITIL
- Entra/Intune
- Networks (Cisco)
- Virtual infrastructure management (VMWare)
- M365 environment
- Solid understanding of security protocols, networks, infrastructure and workplace areas
- Fluency in English language (min. B2/C1 level), German language would be a plus
- Experience in working in international environment
- Nice to have:
- Leading small/medium projects experience
- Experience in integration and curve-out processes (business acquisitions)
- Budget preparation (CAPEX/OPEX) experience
