About the job

Key Accountabilities, Category Management, Execution and Local Procurement Operations:

• Understands divisional business strategy and translates it into procurement requirements.
• Collaborates with Global Category Teams to ensure their contributions positively impact local business, while aligning with global strategy.
• Works with plant, business, and category leaders to identify and prioritize local sourcing initiatives.
• Validates and challenges internal and external analyses within cross-functional sourcing teams.
• Contributes to category strategy development and leads preparation of RFx materials.
• Supports supplier selection and negotiations based on factual analysis.
• Assists in contract review and implementation, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs.
• Manages reporting for local spend and categories, ensuring standards compliance.
• Implements and manages locally concluded contracts and supplier performance.
• Provides feedback on supplier performance to global teams.
• Acts as a Procurement Business Partner, representing procurement to the local business and vice versa.
• Owns local spend and proposes value creation ideas/projects.
• Influences local top management to integrate procurement effectively with the business.
• Manages escalation processes when necessary and removes barriers to innovation and supplier integration.

Your tasks

To reach our ambitious targets and keep guaranteeing the highest quality in our markets, we are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative colleague for a Procurement/ Buyer (Home Solutions) is located in Manisa, Turkey. 

• The key Procurement Business Partner to the local entity for the assigned spend and categories. 
• Provides procurement service&secures Procurement’s support to the local business strategy and performance.
• Accountable for the implementation of the central& local procurement strategies for the assigned spend&categories.
• Ensures proper deployment of procurement practices, policies&projects; creating a competitive advantage for Franke at a minimum risk to the business. At the same time, he/she is the voice of the customer towards the central organization regarding what support is required from Procurement in order to best support the business success.

The Buyer is reporting to the Procurement Cluster Lead within the Division and is instrumental in driving alignment through stakeholder groups and across distinct spend and categories for the respective locations.

Requirements

• Graduation in a related engineering department from reputable universities.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within Procurement, preferably with experience in both direct and indirect procurement.
• Living or willing to relocate Manisa / Izmir area
• Background in ERP systems, with preference for SAP experience.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Action-oriented and quick problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and work with complex data.
• Ideally, experience working in a Matrix environment.
• International business experience desired.
